The Chinese manufacturer is betting heavily on Europe and has just announced three new smartphones to gain market traction in the high-end segment, with mid-range prices, with the Xiaomi 11T Pro, Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Lite.
In addition to these three devices, Xiaomi also announced at this event its first tablet on the market outside China, the Xiaomi Pad 5, all of which debut a new brand strategy already announced, the fall of the “Mi” in the nomenclature of its equipments.
All equipment has its differences, but it is clearly an evolution in relation to its predecessors and for those looking for the best technology at the right price, these products can be the ideal offer, with prices starting at €429.99 by Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE version. But it is the top of the range that stands out for its innovations.
Xiaomi 11T Pro
Xiaomi intends to offer what is improved with technology, and despite not having fully top-of-the-range specifications, it offers several top-notch technology. The big highlight of the Xiaomi 11T Pro is the 120W Xiaomi Hypercharge fast charging technology.
With this innovation, it will only take 17 minutes to go from 2% to 100%, which is incredible and if you run low on battery power, you’ll quickly be able to recharge your smartphone to continue using it for long periods of time.
This charging speed is achieved not only through the 120W, but also because the 5000 mAh battery is actually two 2500 mAh batteries. But if there may be questions about the safety of fast charging, Xiaomi guarantees safety with TÜV Rheinland Safe Fast-Charge certification, in addition to other temperature monitoring measures.
In terms of processing, the equipment has the top-of-the-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage.
As for the cameras, we have three sensors: a 108MP wide angle (0.7μm, Super Pixel, 2.1μm 9-in-1 Super with OIS, f/1.75, 7P lens), a 5MP 2x telemacro (f/ 2.4, AF 3-7cm) and an 8MP ultra wide angle (120° FOV, f/2.2). The sensors are accompanied by artificial intelligence, 8K recording, HDR10+ functionalities. The screen is 6.67 inches with 120Hz FullHD+ resolution, Gorilla Glass Victus and True Dispay, with DisplayMate A+ certificate.
In terms of software, we have MUIU 12.5 based on Android 11.
This smartphone is a little cheaper and shares many of the features of the top equipment, and the price difference is not much. However, we lost the Hypercharge charging and had fast charging of “only” 67W, for the same 5000 mAh battery.
In terms of processing, the processor present is the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra 6m, which Xiaomi says is placed right after the Snapdragon 88 in performance tests, so the difference should not be noticed, as it has them 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB ROM.
As for the cameras, we have the same three sensors: a 108MP wide angle (0.7μm, Super Pixel, 2.1μm 9-in-1 Super with OIS, f/1.75, 7P lens), a 5MP 2x telemacro ( f/2.4, AF 3-7cm) and an 8MP ultra-wide angle (120° FOV, f/2.2), while the display is also the same 6.67-inch display with 120Hz FullHD+ resolution, Gorilla Glass Victus and True Dispay, but without the DisplayMate A+ certificate.
