Xiaomi is currently the 2nd largest mobile phone manufacturer in the world. With just 11 years of existence, the brand, founded and led by Lei Jun, is already one of the industry leaders. All of this is due to the brand’s own strategy, which is to offer a wide range of high-end smartphones at affordable prices, and this new Xiaomi 11T comes with a really impressive price.

The Chinese brand recently announced a new model, the 11T and its pro version. This model arrived to reinforce the mid/high range of the brand and is also the direct successor to the Mi 10T presented in September 2020. A detail that should be noted is the drop in the “Mi” nomenclature in the model name, something that the brand does had already announced that it would stop using it from this year onwards.

In terms of platform hardware, the Xiaomi 11T features MediaTek’s new eight-core Dimensity 1200 processor. This new part is a variant of MediaTek’s top-of-the-range processor built especially for Xiaomi itself. The Dimensity 1200 is thus a SoC with 6nm of maximum processing frequency at 3.0 GHz and also has capacity for double 5G. The 11T thus ends up keeping the work of precursor of the Mi 11, that is, if the Mi 11 was the first to use the Snapdragon 888, the 11T is the first to use the new Dimensity 1200.

The new 11T also has 8GB of RAM memory and offers UFS 2.1 storage capacities of 128GB or 256GB.

As usual, one of the highlights of the T range is the photographic quality it offers. This year’s model continues that tradition with its four new cameras. The main system features the new 108 MP camera wide, and to top it off I still have a second 8MP camera ultrawide and a third 5MP camera with a telemacro lens. The rear camera has 16 MP with a lens wide for all possible selfies and video calls. To complement this new hardware, the camera app has been reworked by the brand, and now offers new creation modes for both photos and videos.

The display is the other highlight of the T range. The 6.67 inch screen without curved edges has Full-HD+ resolution, starting at 1080p, and also includes AMOLED technology. The resolution rate is 120Hz, which is high and identical to other smartphones on the market but turns out to be more affordable than the competition. The display also supports the HDR10+ standard, with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. The screen design turns out to be quite conservative but with very small margins and bezels very discreet, making the most of the available space, and still very ergonomic. As an extra, Xiaomi will market all 11Ts with a Victus film, the new model from the Corning Gorilla Glass brand.

The battery is the other novelty in the 2021 model, having a maximum capacity of 5000 mAh and a maximum charging power of 67W. Fast charging allows the 11T to be fully charged in just 36 minutes. Xiaomi’s new 67W charger compatible with the new USB-C 2.0 port will be included with the smartphone, so the user can take advantage of this new quick charge.

Xiaomi also guaranteed that the 11T will receive updates to the Android operating system over the next three years, while security updates will be guaranteed for a period of four years.

The 11T will thus be a new alternative that offers performance and consistency to the brand’s fans and many other users, all at a very competitive price in the current market. It will be available very soon in three colors: Celestial Blue, Meteorite Gray and Moonlight White.

O Xiaomi 11T is at an incredible price of €499, and you can still get an extra discount with the coupon “MISUPER” for Brazil and “09ESOW25” for Europe.
