The cloud streaming service is migrating to Xbox Series X on the server side, leading to significant improvements in load times and frame rates.
Microsoft is also moving xCloud on the web from beta to official, which is good news for Apple device owners.

The upgrade includes significant improvements to xCloud, where players can take advantage of faster load times and improved frame rates available across the Xbox Series X platform.
Microsoft’s xCloud service was launched in September with the support of Xbox One S server codes. One of the annoying aspects of using xCloud was load times.

xCloud Gets Important Upgrades:
This upgrade greatly reduces the waiting time for games to start. Players will also have access to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S enhanced games.
In addition, Microsoft is launching xCloud through the browser for all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members in the next few weeks.
The service is currently in beta mode. But the expansion makes it available to all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to access xCloud streaming across iPhone and iPad and on any device with a compatible browser.
Microsoft is also expanding cloud gaming to Australia, Brazil, Mexico and Japan later this year, and is hinting at plans for new Xbox Game Pass subscriptions.

“We need to innovate to bring our games and services to more people around the world,” the company said. We’re looking at how to introduce new subscription offers for Xbox Game Pass.
As a result, these new Xbox Game Pass subscriptions will likely include some form of access to xCloud game streaming.
On the other hand, Microsoft is currently offering Xbox game streaming for those who subscribe to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tier, which is priced at $14.99 per month.
It’s easy, for example, to imagine a future in which Microsoft offers a separate Game Pass category that only provides access to xCloud.
