Samsung has already got us used to an event during the summer, where it used to present the Galaxy Note range with S Pen that this year will not be released. But that’s not why there won’t be news, in fact, some information points out that the manufacturer’s idea may be to replace the Galaxy Note range by the folding ranges, the Z Flip and the Z Fold, which will have support for the S Pen.
As for secrets, the truth is that there are also few, as much of the information has already been revealed, but we still weren’t sure when we could get to know the new equipment, but it has already been made official. It will be on August 11th that Samsung will have its new Unpacked event, where it should reveal many news.
What products will be presented by Samsung?
Certainly this is one of the least kept secrets (unless the manufacturer surprises and takes “something” out of the hat on the day of the event). As we can deduce from the invitation, everything points to folding smartphones and a smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch 4. in addition, there is also talk of the possibility of a headset.
As for the folding smartphones, everything points to a Galaxy Z Fold 3 and a Galaxy Z Flip 3, and in the invitation itself we can see the colorful geometric images that really look like the equipment in question, confirming that the rumors are right.
It is to be expected that the new smartphones from the South Korean manufacturer come equipped with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 888 processor. We may also have support for the S Pen on the Galaxy Z Fold3 (something that so many are already yearning for), a 120Hz refresh rate display and a camera module consisting of 5 lenses, one of which is placed under the screen. In this model the compatibility of the S Pen is practically certain, and we still don’t know if it will have its own compartment or it will be released separately, as happened with the Galayx S21 Ultra.
Regarding the Galaxy Flip3 it is also expected that its main screen will come with 120Hz of refresh rate and also with larger dimensions in relation to its predecessor. Also, according to some rumors, the future folding devices from Samsung may turn out to be cheaper than their predecessors, putting themselves in the price range of the Galaxy Note and also more accessible to the consumer.
A smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch 4, should also be presented, and the images have already been revealed by Evan Blass. In this case, the watch should be the first device to have the new WearOS, with the One UI Watch interface, created in partnership with Google, as Samsung and Google joined forces to merge operating systems for watches.
