Gym goers will now have a big, big boost… The Rock has added a pair of workout-ready JBL headphones to its fitness fashion line.
Hollywood’s highest-paid actor has once again joined Under Armor for Project Rock’s Over-Ear training headphones, designed to be used in a busy gym environment and, of course, to make you feel as powerful as the own former 270-pound fighter.
But in addition to being simply branded with the Brahma Bull star insignia, the headphones – which are essentially an updated version of a similar JBL model released in 2018 – actually have some pretty impressive audio features as well.
For starters, they include Active Noise Canceling (ANC) technology and a 45-hour battery life. Most of the best noise canceling headphones in our buying guide don’t rock anywhere near this level of resistance, with most over-ear models packing about 30 hours on a full charge.
What’s more, Under Armor claims that The Rock’s newer cans also feature a quick-charge feature that allows users to get two hours of playtime in just five minutes. Again, it’s faster charging time than most of the best headphones available today.
Evidently, though, Project Rock Over-Ear Training headphones are designed with fitness fanatics in mind, hence their IPX4 sweat resistance rating, extra headband grip, and washable supervent materials in their ear cushions quick drying.
Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa are also on hand if you need to take a call, change the music track, or check how to safely conduct a deadlift in the middle of your workout.
They are not cheap, mind you. At $299.95 (approximately €254), the headphones are in a similar price category to those at the top of our buying guides – but at least you’ll feel like a beast, right?
