Announced Asus for its new laptop Chromebook Chromebook CX9 designed for professionals.
As for Asus, the Chromebook CX9 works with an eleventh-generation Intel Core i7 processor, a processor that is unusual to see in a Chromebook, as students and regular Chromebook customers usually do not need more than a Core i3.
The ASUS Chromebook CX9 is designed to empower professionals with cloud operating systems and collaborative tools with Intel Iris Xe graphics.
And the FHD anti-glare screen provides an enhanced user experience to help improve the workday from anywhere.
In addition, the 14-inch NanoEdge display without bezel on all four sides provides an immersive near-edge-to-edge viewing experience for enhanced productivity.
The computer is 0.63 inches (16 mm) thick and weighs 1 kilogram. Asus says: The case meets US military test standards for durability MIL-STD 810H, and features a durable, lightweight, magnesium-alloy body.
In addition, the new case supports the standard Wi-Fi 6 and includes dual speakers certified by Harman Kardon.
Asus says: It is equipped with several ports, including two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4, an HDMI output port, a USB Type-A port, a micro SD slot, a headphone port and a safety lock.
The device provides the Titan C security chip from Google, which is specially designed for Chromebooks to store sensitive information, such as: passwords and encryption keys.
Moreover, Chromebook CX9 receives software updates automatically every six weeks to ensure that data is protected with the latest protections.
And with Chrome OS, users can enjoy uninterrupted workdays, increase productivity while reducing IT expenses.
ASUS Chromebook CX9 comes with a fingerprint sensor for password-less log-in and a webcam cover for added protection.
Asus also introduced the Chromebook Flip CX5 and Chromebook Flip C536, which are both consumer-oriented Chromebooks that also feature 11th-generation Intel processors.
