Red Alert already has a release date

Netflix announced last Thursday the release date for the film Red alert, directed by Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson for November 12, 2021.

Netflix’s most expensive film in history is the result of a $200 million investment by the company. The value surpassed the movie The Irishman (US$160 million) and Squadron 6 (US$150 million).

Netflix revealed the news in its Twitter, claiming that viewers will be able to see “the best FBI agent, the best most wanted art thief and the greatest crook the world has ever seen.”

An Interpol agent (Dwayne Johnson) hunts the world’s most wanted art thief (Gal Gadot). On this mission, he receives help from another crook (Ryan Reynolds). Rawson Marshall Thurber, responsible for Skyscraper, Boundless Courage, is the film’s director and screenwriter. Johnson is also among the producers.

Red Alert already has a release date

Directed and written by Rawson Marshall Thurber, the film also stars Ritu Arya, Ivan Mbakop, Vincenzo Amato, Rafael Petardi and Chris Diamantopoulos.

According to information published in The New York Times, The Rock received US$ 22 million (R$ 115 million) to act in the film. In addition to receiving these millions for his performance, he also earns US$ 1 million (R$ 5 million) for each publication he makes promoting the production of the film.

This will be just another film that will be part of Netflix’s bet on original content, this same film encompasses a series of outstanding productions, which include films such as Zack Snyder’s Army of The Dead, Bruised, Hale’s debut Berry in the director’s chair, Thunder Force and Escape From Spiderhead, another star-studded film – Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller and Jurnee Smollett.

Netflix had already issued a statement in which it pledged to release at least one new movie a week during the year 2021, for a total of 70 premieres.
