When Xiaomi arrived on the market, accompanied by other manufacturers such as OnePlus, they quickly stood out for launching smartphones on the market with top-of-the-range specifications at low prices, being one of the great aids to the growth of these companies. Over time, the equipment became more expensive, although, even so, cheaper than the great references in the market, as well as the range of processors was wider.

These days, it’s hard to indicate which specs are high-end, but considering that the best processor is the Qualcomm Snadpragon 888, prices with this spec are pretty high. But we might be surprised soon, as Realme, a sub-brand of Oppo, has launched a smartphone with very good features, with the top processor from Qualcomm, at an incredible price.

Let’s start with the specs of the latest Realme GT 5G

Realme’s new smartphone was introduced in the Chinese market a short time ago and as the brand has a strong presence in the South Asian market, such as the Indian one, it should be its next step, before its launch in Europe, which could arrive during summer, as references have already been found in some European entities.

The device has a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED screen, 2400x1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, therefore, very interesting specifications, accompanied by a fingerprint sensor placed under the screen. The processor we’ve already talked about, the Snapdragon 888, accompanied by the Adreno 660 GPU and 8GB/128GB or 12GB/256GB RAM and storage options, respectively.

In terms of cameras, we have a set of three rear sensors, a main 64MP f/1.8, 26mm (wide), 1/1.73″, 0.8µm, PDAF; an 8MP f/2.3, 16mm, 119˚ (ultrawide), 1/4.0″, 1.12µm second sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera is 16MP.

The device has Bluetooth 5.2, wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, dual-band, USB-C 2.0, 65W charging capacity, therefore a fast charge that allows charging 100% in 35 minutes, however, and because for the price it is impossible to have everything, we did not find wireless charging. The battery capacity is 4500 mAh.

Right now, the we found it on Aliexpress for just over €466 and €534 for the 8GB and 12GB RAM version, however, in China the retail prices are 3399 yuan (435€ or R$2793), for the 12GB + 256GB version, and for the 8GB + 128GB version , 2899 yuan (€371 or $2382).

Looking at these prices, it is not surprising that, at most, the smartphone arrives in Europe for values between €500 and €600, which would be one of the cheapest smartphones on the market with high-end specifications, namely the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 888.
