Rumors about a version of Nintendo’s latest console have been around for almost a year, and probably the pandemic and the problem with processors may have helped to postpone this news. However, everything points to happen soon and it could be tomorrow.

The latest rumors pointed to the likely announcement of the new Nintendo Switch Pro ahead of the main gaming event, E3, which starts on June 12th. This is so that game producers could use the event to present their news for the new Nintendo console, which is why the expectation is that the announcement about the Nintendo Switch Pro is imminent.

Reinforcing the information that the launch was imminent, it also helped a listing of a Nintendo Switch Pro on Amazon, which is one of the main online stores in the world and which, on several occasions, has already “confirmed” information yet to be revealed. But now new information has emerged, from the Leaks Center, which indicates that the presentation of the new console should happen tomorrow.

The Twitter account stated that it received and verified a screeshot of the internal system of a large store where it shows that the new Nintendo Switch would go online on June 4th at midnight, implying that the announcement could happen as early as tomorrow and that pre-sales can start on the same day or the following day, depending on the retailer’s schedule.

In terms of specs, rumors are that the new Nintendo Switch Pro features a 5 nanometer Nvidia Ada Lovelace GPU that runs on DLSS technology, which is an excellent evolution. Along with that, the screen should be a 7-inch Samsung OLED, keeping the HD resolution of 1280x780p, however, with the indicated graphics you can run games in 4K on external hardware.

In terms of price, in the US they have been pointing to $399, a little more expensive than the original as expected, and also likely to reach Europe with a price of €399.

This new Nintendo console will also come at a perfect time, as there is information that Valve will attack this market segment led by Nintendo with a handheld console.
