The Microsoft Teams platform for online collaboration has been disrupted and is experiencing a worldwide service outage preventing aFor users to chat, hold meetings, and share notes and attachments.

Issues began to appear at 2:00 PM KSA time, according to Downdetector.

The issues are blocking communication for multiple Microsoft Teams users across Europe and Asia.

Microsoft indicated that it is aware of the problems and is currently investigating the cause.

And theSays Microsoft account via Twitter: We have confirmed that this problem affects users worldwide, and we are reviewing telemetry monitoring and recent changes to isolate the source of the problem.

Some Microsoft Teams users report error codes 401 when trying to access the service over the web, while others see channels but are unable to send messages.

Many people who struggle to use the platform see an error message stating that the operation failed due to an unexpected error.

Others may still log into the service, but Microsoft warns that they may experience degraded performance with multiple features and that any user might be affected by this issue.

This marked the second outage of Microsoft Teams this month, following service issues at the start of April.

Microsoft has also had problems with Microsoft Teams for more than four hours last month, after changing the authentication disabled access to the Communications app.

Azure Active Directory has also encountered issues as part of the last month’s outage, along with the Office web apps, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and other Microsoft services.

Microsoft’s service issues appear to be limited to Microsoft Teams this morning, with no other signs that Azure, Xbox Live, Office, or other services are having problems.
