Nintendo Switch News

Other highlights were also released, namely a huge increase in Fortnite’s performance on Nintendo Switch.

Starting March 30, 2021 we will be releasing an update to enhance our gaming experience with the Nintendo Switch. Specifically, we are updating the renderer on the Nintendo Switch to make better use of the console’s GPU. So, what does this mean for Switch players? The update offers significantly better resolution in both portable and docked modes, resulting in less blurry images, without loss of performance. The update also provides a more consistent frame rate, with fewer problems, resulting in a smoother overall experience. Fortnite on Nintendo Switch will still use dynamic resolution when needed to ensure a consistent frame rate, but this will happen less often and the overall resolution will be significantly higher”Reads.
