Instagram develops its version of Twitter Super Follow

Instagram is building its own version of Twitter’s Super Follow feature with a feature that will allow content creators to post exclusive content through stories that are only available to their fans.

The platform confirmed that screenshots of the newly circulated feature on social media are from an internal prototype that is now in development. But it has not yet been publicly tested.

Yet the screenshots tell a lot about Instagram thinking. It explains how content creators can publish so-called exclusive stories across their accounts. which are customized in a different color.

And when other Instagram users come across Exclusive Stories, they get a message saying that only members can view this content.

As a result, screenshots of Stories cannot be taken. But it can be shared as featured.

A new directive encourages content creators to save these Stories to make them visible to fans, explaining that by doing so, the fan always has something to see when they join.

Exclusive Stories feature revealed by Reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi, who often finds unpublished features in the code for mobile applications.

Exclusive Stories are one part of Instagram’s broader plans for expanded monetization tools for creators.

The company revealed more details about its efforts in this area, as the head of Instagram first said in May that the company was exploring subscriptions alongside other new features, such as NFT.

Paluzzi also recently found references to the NFT feature, Collectibles, which shows how digital collectibles can appear in a creator’s Instagram account in a new tab.

Instagram Explores Exclusive Stories

Instagram has yet to make a public announcement of these specific product developments. Instead, she chose to speak at a high level about her plans about things like subscriptions and tips.
