Revealed The Taiwanese company (HTC) HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G, a mid-range device that provides high-speed networks, but may not spread outside Taiwan’s borders.
Given that the company has left the field of high-end smartphones, focusing on the low-cost segment of the Android market is a wise business decision, however, it is a busy and competitive field.
However, it seems that HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G may be a strong competitor for those who want an affordable smartphone capable of supporting 5G networks thanks to its internal components.
The screen size is 6.7 inches of IPS LCD and with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, supports 90 Hz refresh rate and HDR10 content, and is the first device from the Taiwanese company to come with a screen with this refresh rate.
And there is a notch in the form of a hole in the screen for the 16-megapixel front camera, with very thin edges for the device that runs on the Snapdragon 690 processor from Qualcomm with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage expandable via microSD.
The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that includes support for 18W Quick Charge 4.0 +.
The company provided the phone with a 48-megapixel rear camera with a 48-megapixel primary lens slot for f / 1.8 lens, an ultra-wide 8-megapixel lens with an f / 2.2 lens slot, in addition to the usual depth and macro sensors rated at 2 megapixels each.
Other notable devices include a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint reader for biometric security. It includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is a staple of affordable Android devices.
HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G comes with Android 10 operating system instead of Android 11.
The phone is sold in Taiwan at $ 430, and is now available for initial orders in blue and purple colors, but it will not ship until January 21, 2021.
There are no known details about whether the HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G will be available outside of Taiwan, and the company has not mentioned any information about the global version.
