When you scan a website and find that its pages are slow to load, you may think that there is something wrong with the site or that your Internet connection is weak, to answer such questions, Google began to put a tool in the beta version of the browser (Google Chrome 85) for the Android operating system To help identify which websites load quickly when you visit them.
What is the tool and how does it work?
Google called the tool (The quick page(Fast page) It is now available in the beta version of Chrome 85 for smartphones running the Android operating system, and a tag (Quick Page) will be inserted on websites that usually give users fast loading times, which provides a great browsing experience for the user.
That way, you can simply ignore websites that do not have a (quick page) tag and offer a bad browsing experience, or start troubleshooting your internet connection if you are confident about the safety of the website you are browsing.
But since this information is not always something you need to know, the (quick page) is not marked in a prominent place to see it, in fact the tool will be hidden in the web link inside the content on the page and it can be found by constantly pressing the link to show the menu.
Then if the page you want to visit meets the required criteria, you will see the phrase (Fast Page) in the list, and this is only available when browsing websites through Google Chrome.
How does Google measure website loading speed:
Google inserts the (Quick Page) tag on websites by measuring how quickly the site loads with metrics (Core Web VitalsIt is a set of specific factors that Google considers important in the overall user experience when browsing websites, which includes loading time, response and content stability on the page, and each of these metrics has conditions that must be met to obtain a degree of success.
Hence, if a site has met the required criteria, the (quick page) tag will be inserted in its URL in the link that you click on frequently, but if there is not enough data, the site will be marked as (slow loading).
