The number of users of Telegram has reached more than 400 million users Every month, this number is expected to double over the next few years, thanks to the company constantly providing many new features to users, in addition to the privacy features it supports.
The video calling feature allows users to make one-to-one video calls protected by end-to-end encryption to secure calls.
The company announced that the feature will get more updates in later versions, as the company is now working on the conference video call feature to launch it in the coming months.
Here’s how to use Telegram’s new video calling feature on Android and iPhone phones:
To make video calls through the Telegram application, all you have to do is install the latest version of the application that has the number 7.0.0, and you must also make sure that the contacts you want to communicate with have also updated their application.
- Once the app is finished updating in your phone, open it and choose the contact you want to communicate with via video.
- Click on the three dots icon located in the top right corner, a menu with several options will appear; Click on the option (video call) Video call.
- The video call will start between you and the person you want to talk to, and you can stop the video at any time without ending the call – as is the case in the Zoom application – by pressing the camera icon at the bottom of the screen, where the camera will stop at your end, and you can also repeat Reappear and activate the camera by clicking again on that icon.
