Firm suffered Google Thursday’s outage of Gmail affected users worldwide. The disruption appears to be a global outage, with problems largely concentrated in Europe and Australia. Users reported problems sending and receiving emails.
But for those who do not know, Gmail has great advantages, and the interruption of service that took place on the strength of the service spread among users in the world will not be affected. So here are some of the benefits in Gmail that can help you become a professional.
Join a meeting:
Gmail now includes (Google Meet) For (G Suite) users. If your company uses (Google Meet), you can create or join a meeting directly from within mail, without having to open a new browser tab.
Dying to write an email but don’t want to send it right away? There is no problem with this, as you can schedule an email to be sent at any time, by clicking the arrow next to the Send button in reply, as the Send button will be gray, not the blue button (Send and Archive).
Use of templates:
Do you notice that you are constantly typing the same emails over and over? Templates – prepackaged responses – are the answer. You can create and save templates for emails that you tend to send often. You can also edit the email once you enter the form, so this is a great option to get the basics and fill in specific details as needed.
If you press the send button early to send your message, there is no problem, as Gmail has an option to undo the sending, and you can even choose to delay before sending permanently.
Secret mode will prevent people from saving, copying, forwarding or downloading your email although it cannot prevent them from taking screenshots. You can even set an end date for your message to self-destruct.
Public signature doesn’t always refer to all of our duties, as Gmail allows multiple signatures for users, and you can easily switch between them when typing, as you can click the signature icon at the bottom right of the Configuration tab to set or manage signatures.
