Fair Technology Ltd has formed a strategic partnership with Hyundai Motor to act as the company’s authorized passenger vehicle distributor and after-sales service provider.

Mutassim Daiaan, director of Fair Technology Ltd, announced the partnership and opened a sales program through a seminar in the Bangladeshi capital on Saturday, a statement said.

“Bangladesh is a growing market for automobiles, and with the completion of many infrastructure projects, including new roads, the use of new cars is expected to account for half of the total used cars,” said Daiaan.

Refurbished cars dominate the country’s roads, he added. “Car manufacturing in Bangladesh will be our main focus,” said Fair Group President Ruhul Alam Al Mahbub. He hoped to create a new Hyundai manufacturing unit soon after getting support from Hyundai Motor and the necessary political support from the government.

“We will be able to meet expectations through futuristic design and driver-centric steering devices that elevate customers’ lifestyles,” said YS Lee, vice president, Asia and Pacific, Hyundai Motor.

The Fair Group aims to improve the lifestyle of Bengalis by providing innovative products, services, quality and convenience in collaboration with leading global brands, its employees said.

The group is currently manufacturing Samsung-branded smartphones and electronics, as well as running its own businesses and retailers across the country.

Fair Technology is embarking on this journey, revealing Hyundai’s popular sedans, such as Sonata and Elantra, and SUVs, such as Palisade, Tucson and Santa Fe.

All of these vehicles have user-centric features, smart technology, premium leather seats, sunroof, stylish alloys and modern amenities. They are manufactured in South Korea and are available from stock, company officials said.

Fair Group CMO Mesbah Uddin and marketing chief JM Taslim Kabir also spoke at the seminar.
