There has been a lot of talk about the possible delay in the launch of the new iPhones in the 12 series. As a curiosity, at this point a year ago, Apple was launching not beta 4 of the next iOS, but beta 6. So we can say that there are at least here two weeks of different timing of test version releases. Does this “delay” in iOS 14 mean anything?
Despite this curiosity, today Apple brought more corrections and some new features to the iPhone’s operating system.
Apple today launched the fourth developer version, iOS and iPadOS 14, watchOS 7 and tvOS 14 for testing. Thus, with these versions, users using these versions help to improve and refine the system. However, with each version that comes out, the news decreases, as you start to get an increasingly robust, stable and equipped version.
Apple TV widget - There is now a new “Apple TV” widget available in this fourth beta.
Search improvements - The way the search contents in the search bar are shown muted. Now, the result of the web appears first, then Siri's apps and suggestions.
3D Touch - 3D Touch, which was not available in the latest beta, is working again on compatible devices.
Exposure notifications API - The “Exposure Notifications” API has been added to this beta version, so that iOS 14 users can download apps that use “Exposure Notifications”.
As it was possible to perceive, in addition to these news and any others that may appear, there was a correction of some bugs. Thus, you should find the system more stable and consuming less energy.
