The technology giant announced that Apple Pencil will have new features, which can be used by users who have a tablet with iPadOS 14. The system transforms handwritten characters into text. This news was given by Apple on the Feature Availability page.
In addition to being available in Portuguese, Apple has also developed this feature in other languages, namely in French, German, Italian and Spanish. The intelligent data recognition system has also been improved.
Remember that last autumn, the launch of the operating system for iPhone and iPad, made it possible to write notes in Notes, using the text field, and the system converts the writing into text. It is also possible to use handwritten phone numbers, dates, and addresses.
For now, Apple Pencil is available in the following languages: French (Belgium), French (Canada), French (Switzerland), French (France), German (Austria), German (Germany), German (Switzerland). Italian (Switzerland), Italian (Italy), Portuguese (Portugal), Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America) and Spanish (Mexico).
Converting handwritten notes is very easy and intuitive. You can convert handwriting in two ways:
- Start writing as far away from the ruler as possible. Your handwriting will automatically be converted to text as you write.
- If notes have already been written, click to select the notes and convert them to text:
- Double-click or hold down the word to be selected. Select more words by swiping your finger over them. To select the entire line just click three times.
- Tap on selected words.
- Then just Copy as text.
