Apple is preparing to launch a new group of subscription services called (Apple One) as soon as in October, according to To report New released by Bloomberg.
And Bloomberg suggests Apple may also launch a service competitor to compete with Peloton, with Apple’s virtual fitness classes being part of the package deal.
The new group of subscription services called (Apple One) allows customers to subscribe to several Apple digital services together.
The price of the monthly subscription to (Apple One) is expected to be lower than if the services were subscribed to individually.
And Bloomberg reports that Apple One subscription packages will be launched in October with new iPhone models.
The company previously confirmed that the new iPhone series will debut a few weeks later than the usual September timeframe.
The drive for bundling subscription services will be to encourage customers to subscribe to multiple Apple services, which will generate more recurring revenue.
(Apple News +) and (Apple TV +) services in particular have not seen much growth, so pooling of subscriptions is helping to increase subscriber numbers.
In late 2019, the iPhone manufacturer tried to offer a bundle of Apple Music and Apple TV + to students, with the second service included for free.
The files in (iOS 13.5.5) refer to “Package View” and “Package Subscription,” and these files were not present in previous versions of (iOS).
And it is said: These files are linked to Apple’s own service subscription management system, such as (Apple TV +).
Apple has a financial goal of surpassing the 600 million subscribers bar in subscription services by the end of 2020, and the company said: It is on the right track to achieve this goal and that its services package will increase adoption.
There will be different levels, as the basic package includes (Apple Music) and (Apple TV +), while the second package includes (Apple Music), (Apple TV +) and (Apple Arcade) gaming service.
While the third package includes (Apple Music), (Apple TV +), (Apple Arcade) and (Apple News +), the more expensive package includes all the previous services in addition to additional storage space on (iCloud) for files and photos.
There have been rumors that Apple has been collectively marketing its digital services through a service package since 2018, and most rumors have indicated that the package may include (Apple Music), (Apple TV +) and (Apple News +).
It is reported that it is not clear that (Apple One) is the planned name of the package when it is announced, or that it is the name used only to refer to the package internally in Apple.
