GeForce RTX 30 Series notebook GPUs deliver gaming experiences ray-traced impressive in Cyberpunk 2077 and other top titles, and allow creators to produce incredible content using hundreds of GPU-accelerated applications.
“With the advancement of our 5th generation AeroBlade 3D fan and related thermal technologies, we are excited to add even more power to our thin and portable Predator Triton series,” said James Lin, Managing Director, Notebooks, IT Products Business, Acer Inc. “The Predator Triton 300 SE incorporates the new 11th generation Intel Core processors H35 Series specifically designed for ultraportable gaming and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs for laptops, plus up to 10 hours of battery life for those who need to use it for productivity between gaming sessions ”.
“The new 11th generation Intel Core H35 Series processors deliver enthusiastic gameplay on ultraportables, including the Intel Core i7 Special Edition with up to 5.0 GHz and new platform benefits like PCIe Gen 4 to fully power the latest discreet graphics enthusiasts , ”Said Fredrik Hamberger, general manager of premium notebook platforms and enthusiasts, Client Computing Group at Intel. “Placing all this performance and connectivity with Wi-Fi 6 at a lower thermal limit allows for incredible innovation in the ultraportable gaming segment, as exemplified by the new design of the Acer Predator Triton.”
Predator Triton 300 SE – Tons of Energy in a Portable Kit
At just 17.9 mm, the new generation of the Predator Triton 300 SE (PT314-51s) allows users to play the latest games on the go. The 1.7 kg laptop features a processor up to the 11th Generation Intel Core i7 of the H35 Special Edition Series that reaches up to 5 GHz for extremely fast performance, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPUs for notebooks in its clean, all-metal chassis. A dual fan cooling system includes the latest 5th generation AeroBlade fan and Acer Vortex Flow technology to keep temperatures in check during intense gaming sessions.
The Aeroblade all-metal fan features pointed blades that increase air intake and an innovative wind guide that minimizes turbulence and redirects airflow to critical components, resulting in a 10% increase in performance over the previous generation.
Acer’s Vortex Flow is a design concept that serves to create an aerodynamic flow within the chassis, consisting of heatpipes, ventilation slots and a pair of strategically placed fans that improve cooling on the CPU, GPU and other critical components, increasing performance.
Whether they’re playing games or watching movies, players will appreciate the Predator Triton 300 SE’s 14-inch FHD screen that boasts a 144 Hz refresh rate and is surrounded by three thin bezels. 10 hours of battery life gives players the flexibility to coordinate gaming and study sessions, or to stay on their favorite stream after a hard day’s work.
An illuminated 3-zone RGB keyboard enhances gaming, while DTS: X Ultra audio provides a boost to the game by offering crisp, well-balanced sound to help players locate where an enemy is hiding. In addition to the Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650, the Predator Triton 300 SE has a wide range of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and HDMI. Finally, PredatorSense and a Turbo key give players real-time control over fan speed, allowing them to choose quieter modes when working or editing content and a more powerful game mode.
Predator Helios 300 – Fast, fluid and future-proof gameplay
The Predator Helios 300 (PH315-53) has been updated to include the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU and up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory to give players all the performance they need to win this generation of games – and the next .
These components feed the laptop’s 240 Hz IPS screen with a 3 ms response, allowing smooth and reliable visuals, while DTS: X Ultra audio and simulated 3D surround sound allow for an even more immersive audio experience. The notebook is supported by two fans, including a custom engineered Acer AeroBlade 3D, while Acer’s CoolBoost technology allows the fans to adjust to keep critical areas continually cool.
Acer Nitro 5 – Enter the Game
The Nitro 5 has historically been an exercise in maximizing value per euro, and this generation continues that legacy with the combined power of the 11th generation Intel Core H35 processors, NVIDIA GeForce GTX GPUs and up to 32 GB of DDR4 RAM. These specs provide players with all the power needed for smooth gameplay in the most popular titles, and a pair of M.2 PCIe / SATA SSDs offer plenty of storage for enthusiasts playing a variety of titles. For situations where less noise or more power would be ideal, the integrated NitroSense application gives users a convenient way to check system temperatures, adjust speeds, fans and more.
Although this performance is noticeable as soon as a game is started, users will first notice the notebook’s cleaner chassis and narrower bezels, which allow for an 80% screen-to-body ratio. The device’s screen offers blur-free gameplay with its 144 Hz refresh rate and 3 ms response time, and its 300-nits panel brings games to life with outstanding colors.
Regardless of what is happening on the screen or under the chassis, Acer’s innovations in thermal management ensure that the Nitro 5 continues to work well. In addition to a pair of fans and a design of four ventilation slots, Acer CoolBoost technology increases fan speed by 10% and CPU / GPU cooling by 9% compared to automatic mode
In addition, a series of fun and innovative features add finishing touches that enhance the overall gaming experience of Nitro 5. The laptop’s charging port has been moved to the back of the chassis so that the power cord is out of the way, while USB-C Thunderbolt 4 and Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig +) support fast connections. The keyboard has 4 RGB zones, allowing users to customize their interaction space according to their preferences.
