Announced Acer during its participation in CES 2021 for the new version of its laptop for games Nitro 5.
The computer now has a harmonious look, transferring all the red details – apart from the red backlit keyboard – to the back.
But the most impressive thing is that the computer gets major upgrades in the graphics, processing and display departments.
For CES 2021, Acer announced the 15.6-inch and 17-inch Nitro 5 model with support for the latest 11th generation Intel Core H35 series processors with the GeForce RTX 3080 GPU from Nvidia.
Nitro 5 computers also come with processor support AMD Ryzen 5000 Series (Up to Ryzen 9 5900HX) with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU.
In terms of display quality, the Nitro 5 can be configured with a 1440p screen with a 165Hz refresh rate or a 1080p screen with a 360Hz refresh rate and a 3ms response time.
And if you get an Intel model with an 11th generation CPU, the Nitro 5 supports Thunderbolt 4.
Acer will start selling the Nitro 5 computers in February with a model At a price of $ 750, it comes with a 15.6-inch IPS screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor, GeForce GTX 1650 graphics, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage.
The computer costs an additional $ 100 if you want a 17-inch screen model with the rest of the same specifications.
There are also Nitro 5 models available with 10th generation Intel processors ahead of those built with 11th generation processors.
Acer did not share official US prices for the other configurations, but stated that models coming to other regions with AMD Radeon R7 graphics or GeForce RTX 3060, with the addition of a 512GB NVMe SSD cost 1,299 euros.
Acer said: The user can adjust the RAM capacity and internal storage space of any model of the computer by removing the bottom cover of the Nitro 5 computer, so that it will find support for two NVMe SSDs and a 2.5-inch SATA SSD (with a total of three slots for expandable storage), and up to 32 GB of RAM.
And theAcer uses Intel’s Wi-Fi 6 chipset for all models, along with Killer Networking’s Ethernet.
